About OSEC Labs
OSEC Labs, the Open Science & Engineering Consortium, was founded in 2017 to review and publish STEM research by student and university researchers.
Founding
OSEC Labs was created to preserve and review STEM research produced through science fairs, summer programs, independent projects, and university courses.
The publication process includes full manuscript review, editorial standards, permanent citation IDs, and a public archive.
OSEC Labs today
Nine years on, OSEC Labs has published 19,546 research papers, including approximately 1,250 last year. Our researchers work and study at Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Yale, Princeton, Oxford, UC Berkeley, USC, and Rutgers. Our review analysts come from ISEF and IEEE communities.
The acceptance rate is under 8%. Every submitted manuscript is reviewed before a publication decision.
