Benchmarking Photonic Gate Fidelity Across 441 Circuits

Abstract

This study revisits photonic gate fidelity through the lens of federated analysis. We introduce a federated framework and benchmark it against established baselines across 4702 trials. Results show a 21% gain in accuracy alongside a marked reduction in variance between replicates. We discuss limitations and outline directions for follow-up work at the undergraduate level.
